BASS.

‘For quite some time, I wasn’t really interested in bass playing at all. That changed dramatically, when I started to drum in a band with a bass player next to me playing insanely groovy and virtuosic without any signs of exertion. I  secretly started to practice by myself then, before finally getting the chance to switch from keys to bass in one of my bands years later. I’ll never get enough of that feeling during a gig, when you play the first note and the whole venue starts to shake.’

An old shortscale 60s Höfner Beatles bass of his father’s was the first bass guitar Tim had his hands on. During his later high school years, he played in several more heavy and rock orientated bands as a bassist and started to providing bass for his own recordings in addition to that. Whilst studying at University Osnabrück, Tim got the opportunity to choose electric bass as a further secondary subject, studying with bass instructor Jens Heisterhagen for three semesters and playing bass in the Osnabrück based Worship band ‘Skybound’ for which he also produced the 2017 debut album 'Heavenly' (See 'My Work' -> 'References'!). Tim is also capable of providing some basic double bass parts if suitable for the musical context.

Currently, Tim plays bass for London based grunge band 'Stoneflies' and German worship band 'Skybound'.
